Adapt40, GUASS and the Government of Montenegro are working to support National Climate Action in Montenegro

Adapt40 is partnering with the Government of Montenegro and GAUSS to support national climate action, focusing specifically on adaptation and resilience. Adapt40’s work includes enhancing the country’s capacity for Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) of adaptation efforts, strengthening systems for reporting on Loss and Damage, and improving the tracking and evaluation of climate finance.

 This involves building technical and institutional capacities, such as developing learning tools and fostering data management skills, while ensuring effective stakeholder collaboration. Adapt40’s adaptation-focused efforts complement GAUSS's focus on mitigation, collectively progressing Montenegro’s progress toward climate-resilient, low-carbon ambitions.
