Nuestra Génesis: Capacity building for Urban Climate Resilience.
Adapt40 is working with Nuestra Génesis to increase knowledge on the impacts of climate hazards, reduce vulnerability to their impacts, and enable Nuestra Génesis and urban poor communities in Cali, Colombia, to reduce their risk. We are focusing on community-level, nature-based solutions to flooding, landslides, and water scarcity. Participatory training sessions will enable improved identification of hazards and vulnerability hotspots and detail measures to build capacity and reduce sensitivities.
Re-alliance: Increasing the knowledge and practice of regenerative solutions to build climate resilience.
Adapt40 is currently working alongside Re-alliance to increase the use of regenerative techniques to build community-level resilience to climate change. To do this we are supporting the development of a framework of regenerative practices covering agriculture, design and construction, the project is currently aimed towards the international re-alliance member network with the scope to become more widely accessible.
YMCA Madagascar: Capacity building for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation.

The team then delivered four modules in English and French to the staff and volunteers of YMCA Madagascar to contribute to capacity building towards disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.
