YMCA Madagascar Capacity Building

Adapt40 worked with YMCA Madagascar to support the communities they work with to be prepared for the 2022/2023 cyclone season - this included technical advice and also the provision of disaster preparedness equipment and supplies.

After identifying needs for technical assistance, Adapt40 delivered four modules to YMCA Madagascar between September and November 2023. The modules, delivered in English and French, covered four topics: 1) Introduction to Disaster Risk reduction and Climate Change Adaptation, 2) Best Practices for Monitoring and Evaluation, 3) Guide to conducting a Risk and Vulnerability Assessment, 4) Early Warning Systems and Risk Preparedness Activities.

Second module delivered in September 2023.
